Welcome to 6th grade World Cultures  2020-2021.

My name is Sylvia Yvette Gonzalez, I have been teaching here at K. White for 15 years. I graduated from James Pace High school in Brownsville, I attended college  Texas Southmost College and University of Texas at Brownsville. I am married and have a 3 wonderful children.
I enjoy teaching and spending time to getting to know my students. I treat all of my  students and care for them as if they were my own. 

I believe and encourage my students to be confident and safe. My students will learn Cultural geography is the study of the many cultural aspects found throughout the world and how they relate to the spaces and places where they originate and then travel as people continually move across various areas. I am very excited and passionate to meet your child and get to see them learn. I will work hard to make sure our class time will be productive in learning and promote confidence to ensure positive attitudes.
