KWJH Athletic Code of Conduct 2022 - 2023

Your child has expressed a desire to participate in an extracurricular activity at Kenneth White Junior High.  It is the belief of the Mission CISD (MCISD) district that participation in extracurricular activities is an integral part of the total educational program.   MCISD believes that extracurricular activities are an avenue in which today’s young athletes are guided in becoming productive and positive members of society.  By stressing fair play, sportsmanship, self discipline and teamwork, our programs will inevitably make our students understand the fact that hard work leads to success.

Participation in the regular curriculum is a right afforded to each student; however participation in the extracurricular program is a PRIVILEGE that carries additional expectations for acceptable conduct.  Participation in extracurricular activities is a privilege and not a right, MCISD is authorized to set higher standards for participants of these activities.  When completing the MCISD / UIL physical online at Rank One Sport, you completed the Mission CISD Athletic Code of Conduct.  Attached below is the KWJH Athletic Code of Conduct that is more specific with the expectations of all Hawk Athletes.  Before your child is able to participate in any KWJH Athletic class, practice, scrimmage or game, ALL paperwork must be completed online and the paper UIL Pre-Participation Physical, UIL Medical History and the KWJH Athletic Code of Conduct signature sheet returned to the appropriate coach or athletic trainer.

Thank you for allowing your child to participate.
